Sinn Féin May Re-Evaluate Clare General Election Plans

Clare Sinn Féin may change their two-candidate General Election strategy in Clare, in the wake of a disappointing local election performance.

The party has already selected Noeleen Moran from Ballyvaughan and Shannon Councillor Mike McKee to run in the next General Election here.

However, after a weekend in which Sinn Féin’s five candidates won only one seat, and secured only 4.9% support from across Clare, the party could now re-evaluate its plans.
