Shannon Councillor Defends Motion To Reinstate Joe Brolly To RTÉ’s GAA Coverage

A Shannon Councillor has defended a motion that’s to be put before Clare County Council, calling for RTÉ to reinstate Joe Brolly to the state broadcaster’s GAA coverage.

Independent Councillors Gerry Flynn, Ann Norton and PJ Ryan will table the motion at next Monday’s meeting.

It calls on the Ministers for Communications and Finance to request that RTÉ reinstate the pundit “ASAP”, as his removal last summer has “taken away from the enjoyment of the game for many people”.
