New Food Hub Will Newmarket-On-Fergus Stand On Its Own Feet

Hope is being expressed that a major new food hub project being delivered in Newmarket-on-Fergus will help the village stand on its own two feet.

A significant investment of €1.2 million announced last week will see the derelict Tradaree Arms pub on the main street transformed into a space for training chefs.

It will be run by local community development organisation Obair and the Limerick Institute of Technology has expressed interest in teaming up with them to help them deliver courses from the new building.
