Life And Legacy Of Laura Brennan To Be Celebrated Tonight In TV Documentary

The life and legacy of Clare woman Laura Brennan will be celebrated tonight in a documentary to air on the national broadcaster.

A tireless campaigner for HPV vaccination, Laura passed away in March after a battle with terminal cervical cancer.

Following her diagnosis, the Ennis native dedicated herself to raising awareness of HPV and was instrumental in a campaign which saw rates of vaccination rise to 70 percent among first year secondary school students.

The documentary on Laura’s life, is entitled ‘This is Me’ and will air tonight on RTÉ One at 9.35pm.
