A plan has been launched in Kilrush, with a view to making it the most sustainable town in the country by the year 2025.
The plan aims to improve the quality of life for those living there and encourage more people to choose the town as a place to settle.
It includes 10 objectives and 84 actions to achieve their goals, including working towards being a waste-free town, promoting heritage and encouraging sustainable tourism.
