Shannon Airport and Bunratty Castle are among a host of iconic buildings lighting up green for St Patrick’s Day.
It forms part of Shannon Group’s contribution to a virtual celebration for this year, which sees it partnering with a variety of regional and national bodies taking part events in Clare, Limerick, Tipperary, Galway and Dublin.
Ennis Court House, Ennis Friary and Quin Abbey have also gone green over the past week as part of the Tourism Ireland #GlobalGreening initiative, which now spans 55 countries worldwide.

In addition, Bunratty Castle is taking part in “Solas: Awakening Ireland”, which sees projections of reimagined, contemporary Irish imagery such as Ogham lettering and phrases projected onto national structures.
