Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan kicks into action in Ennis today.
The nine-day celebration of traditional music, dance and culture is one of the largest traditional music festivals of the year.

It returns to Ennis, after being staged in the county town last year, and once more is expected to attract a large crowd to the town.
Next weekend in particular will see a large number of competitions and concerts, and the return of the popuular Gig Rig to the Abbey Street Car Park.
