Ennistymon Dad Commends UHL Staff After Daughter’s Health Scare

An Ennistymon father has commended the staff at the region’s main hospital for what he says is “world class treatment” following a recent health scare with his daughter.

4-year-old Bodhi Kearns has a rare form of dwarfism that means even just a common cold can become life-threatening.

She took ill at the beginning of the month and despite her parents being nervous about bringing her to the A&E at University Hospital Limerick, they felt they had no choice.
