Ennis Autism Activist Asks For Understanding On World Autism Day

An Ennis autism activist is asking people to open up their minds and be more tolerant and accepting of those on the spectrum this month.

April marks Autism Awareness Month, while it’s also World Autism Day today, with both occasions aiming to create more awareness around the disorder.

It’s also a challenging time for families of people with autism now, with COVID-19 restrictions disrupting their routines, which can be a trigger for some.
