Councillors To Discuss Controversial St. Flannan’s Cycle Lanes

Elected representatives could request Clare County Council to remove controversial cycling infrastructure installed near St. Flannan’s College at a meeting this morning.

Ennis Councilors are due to be presented with an update on the Council’s review of what it calls the ‘Low Cost Safety Scheme’ when they hold their monthly meeting this morning.

But the meeting will also see a discussion on a Motion from four Councillors, seeking that the bollards and so-called ‘armadillos’ be removed from Clonroadmore and Clonroadbeg.

Tommy Brennan, and others, spoke about this issue on Morning Focus on August 27th last.
