Council Urged To Push Ahead With Proposals To Address Shannon Decline

Clare County Council has been urged to consider further project which could address decline in Shannon.

The call has come from Junior Minister in the Department of Local Government John Paul Phelan, during a Seanad debate on the town.

Calls for an enhancement of the public areas of Shannon were made by Dublin Senator Victor Boyhan, on foot of conversations he’s had with Councillor Gerry Flynn
