Clare’s Fire Service Issues Safety Warning Ahead Of Halloween Night

Clare County Fire Service is urging parents to warn their children of the dangers of fireworks this Halloween.

Tonight is traditionally one of the busiest nights of the year for fire fighters in Clare, with bonfires, fireworks and even candles among the main causes for callouts.

Last year saw a record low number of callouts for the fire service in this county, with only €5,000 worth of incidents reported, and they’re hopeful of a similar situation this time around.
