Clare Bus management has expressed surprise at news that the new operators of the local link service plans to double its offering in this county.
A contract has now been signed, which has seen the responsibility for the coordination of the service transfer to Limerick, under the remit of the newly named Limerick Clare Local Link.
Despite concern in this county that the move would lead to a downgrade of services, Limerick management has confirmed that they plan to grow routes here.
