Call For Solidarity In Clare On International Day Of Disabled People

People are being urged to show solidarity with Clare’s disabled population today, as part of celebrations to mark International Day of Disabled People.

The annual event is now in its 27th year and aims to promote the rights and well-being of all persons with disabilities.

The Clare Leader Forum is holding a free event at the Temple Gate Hotel in Ennis from 11 o’clock this morning which will hear from education and employment experts on the opportunities out there for disabled people.
