The Chair of the Cross-Party Shannon Airport Oireachtas Group says it is crucial that the recommendations of the aviation taskforce are acted on.
The government-appointed Aviation Recovery Taskforce, which included representation from Shannon Airport, has recommended a stimulus package for Shannon, Cork, Knock, and Donegal airports, increased funding to market regional airports internationally, and an extension of the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme.
Their report has been submitted to the Transport Minister Eamon Ryan.
