Crowe Hits Out At Patch Job Of Water Mains In Parteen

Efforts to repair ongoing leakages to water pipes in South East Clare have been likened to using duct tape to fix a broken car.

The ongoing issue of the problems with the section of old water mains piping between Westbury and Clancy’s Shop, Parteen has been raised in the Shannon Municipal District chambers.

Local representatives there will now write to Irish Water urging them to look at a significant upgrade and a permanent solution, to stop homes in the area experiencing regular water outages.
