Two Hospitalised Following Altercation Involving A Knife In Newmarket-On-Fergus

Two people have been taken to hospital following an altercation involving a knife at a house in Newmarket-on-Fergus.

Emergency services were alerted to an incident involving number of people at a property on the Ballycar Road shortly before 6 o’clock this morning.

One man in his twenties and another man in his fifties were subsequently taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick, where they’re being treated for non life threatening injuries.
