Masked Men Entered Ennis Shop Armed With Knife And Threatened Staff

A garda investigation is underway after a masked man, armed with a kitchen knife entered a shop in Ennis and threatened staff.

Shortly before 2 o’clock on Saturday afternoon, a man entered a shop on the Turnpike Road, wearing a blue and black hoody and a balaclava, and demanded money from staff.

But after being confronted by a customer, he left the shop empty handed.
