Clare Gardaí are issuing a warning to homeowners to be vigilant of home oil theft as the winter sets in.
It follows a number of incidents in recent weeks where oil and green diesel have been stolen, most recently in a case in Liscannor.
A number of tips have been issued by Gardaí here, in order to make this type of crime as difficult as possible for those behind it.

Anyone who has fallen victim to this type of crime is urged to contact their local Garda station as soon as possible.
