Gardaí are continuing to question two men in their thirties, in connection with drugs and firearms incidents in Clare.
As part of an operation targeting the sale and supply of illegal drugs and the possession of firearms, detectives and uniformed Gardaí carried out searches at a number of properties in the Clare division.
It followed recent incidents in the county as well as the seizure of a sub-machine gun, ammunition and approximately €125,000 worth of suspected cocaine and cannabis herb seized on August 24th, 2018.

Two men in their thirties were arrested yesterday and continue to be detained at Ennis and Shannon Garda Stations under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
