Credit Unions Could Lead An Economic Recovery

The President of the Irish League of Credit Unions says Credit Unions could lead the way in an economic recovery if allowed to do so.

The ILCU is seeking regulatory changes, including the deferral of government levies, to help branches survive a fall-off of business during the pandemic.

Some Credit Unions have seen an 80% drop in lending when compared with last year.
