A Clare school teacher charged with sexual offences involving a teenage girl is due back in court today.

The 60 year old man who cannot be identified is accused of committing 14 sexual offences involving a then 15-year-old girl and is due to make his third appearance in court today when the book of evidence against him is expected to be served.
Thirteen of the alleged offences occurred in two separate rooms of a Co Clare school between September and November of 2009.
The accused is currently on bail and has been ordered to have no contact with the alleged injured party or any witnesses in the case.
