County Council Slammed For Inaction On Housing

Clare County Council is being urged to “get on with it” and build more social housing to meet the demand in this county.

Ennis local election candidate Dermot Hayes has hit out at the local authority for what he says is a lack of action on tackling the issue.

Rents in the county town for basic family homes are now being advertised for €1,100 or more which he feels is putting tremendous strain on parents.
