Councillor Says Elderly Residents In Sixmilebridge Fearful After Encampment Set Up

A Sixmilebridge councillor says elderly residents in the area are afraid to park their cars at the town’s train station after an encampment was set-up there there yesterday.

Gardai had outlined how they were maintaining an increased presence in Shannon last week, due to local concerns, and there are now calls for a similar presence to be established in Sixmilebridge.
