Councillor Calls For Proper Remuneration System For Jury Duty

An Ennis councillor insists a proper remuneration system for people called for jury duty needs to be implemented.

James Breen is concerned that some people who are being called to serve on a jury in Irish courts are losing out on income for the duration of the trials.

While employers are obligated to pay their employees when they are called up, his fear is that some choose not to.
