Council Calls For ‘Personal Responsibility’ Among Pet Owners On Dog Fouling

Clare County Council have called on pet owners to show ‘personal responsibility’ in tackling the dog fouling problem here.

Just seven fines have been issued to people in this county for not cleaning up after their dogs since 2014 – three of these have come this year.

That’s despite concerns being raised from local representatives in areas such as Sixmilebridge and Ennis that the law on dog fouling isn’t been effectively enforced.
