Too Soon To Declare Clare Covid-Free Despite No New Cases In Fortnight

There have been no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Clare for fourteen days.

It is the longest period the county has gone without any new cases since the onset of the pandemic.

369 people in the county have been diagnosed with the virus, only one of those this month, while 32 people have lost their lives.

But Kilmihil GP and former TD, Dr Michael Harty says this doesn’t mean Clare can be declared covid-free.
