Siptu Enters Talks With Aer Lingus In Effort To Resume Shannon Flights

Siptu has entered talks with Aer Lingus to ensure that staff at Shannon won’t be left worse off than those at other Irish Airports.

The Airline this week announced that staff at the county’s airport are being temporarily laid off until August, as it’s not currently operating flights, while staff at Dublin and Cork are to see significant pay cuts.

When asked about its plans for flights at Shannon, the airline told Clare FM that it’s reviewing its flight schedule in line with health advice from relevant governments.
