It’s hoped a community response programme being trialed in North Clare can be rolled out more widely across the county to help those most impacted by the coronavirus.
A number of community groups have come together to coordinate an initiative to run errands for those who are housebound and to ensure that nobody is left wanting during the crisis.
It’s currently in operation in Carron, New Quay, Fanore, Ballyvaughan, Lisdoonvarna, Kilfenora, Kilshanny and Doolin.
