Lions Clubs Aim To Deliver 200,000 Face Visors To Frontline Staff

The Ennis branch of the Lions Club has come together with its counterparts throughout the country to raise €100,000 to purchase face visors for frontline workers.

200,000 masks are to be distributed free of charge to Gardai and HSE staff, as well as their counterparts in Northern Ireland.

Already, €20,000 of their goal has been raised, and the first deliveries are being made soon.

The Ennis branch has donated €1,000 to the cause, and its President Michael Neylon says any donations the public wish to make will be gratefully accepted.
