Ennistymon Students Record Renowned Clare Song To Lift People During Lockdown

Leaving Cert students at Ennistymon CBS have taken to the internet to come together and sing one of Clare’s most beloved songs, to give people a lift during the current pandemic.

The sixth years at the North Clare school sang ‘Clare My Heart My Home’ as the finale of their Christmas concert last December and took the decision to sing the same ballad during the COVID lockdown.

They took to the Zoom video conferencing app to each record their own bit of the song from home, with this being the first time many had seen each other in a month since the schools closed.
