More Covid Patients At University Hospital Limerick Than Any Other Hospital

More patients are being treated for Covid-19 at University Hospital Limerick than any other hospital in the country.

The latest available figures from the HSE show there were 142 patients admitted with the virus at the Dooradoyle facility this morning, a rise of 12 in 24 hours.

There are 12 people being treated in the Intensive Care Unit, which is an increase of two in a day.

Nationally, over eighteen hundred people are currently hospitalised with 149 new admissions in the last 24 hours.

The number in ICU now stands at 169, down from 176 yesterday. There’s been 14 new admissions in the last 24 hours.
