Concern Expressed Over COVID Testing Waits In Clare

Clare’s Sinn Fein TD is expressing concern that some people in this county are waiting a week between first reporting symptoms of COVID-19, and getting a test result.

It’s claimed people some people are now be waiting up to 4 days to be given a COVID test, with another three day gap waiting for the results.

There have been 36 positive cases recorded in Clare in the last 14 days, with the rate per 100,000 now standing at 30.3 – far below the national average of 50.
