A North Clare Councillor is urging those over 70 years of age to enter a phase of cocooning and to stay at home all of the time.
On Friday evening, the Government advised this age group to stay in their homes until Easter Sunday and to get neighbours, friends or family to help with out with shopping for food and other essential items.
It also applies to those medically vulnerable to COVID-19.
