The Clare Chair of the Oireachtas Covid-19 Committee is calling for a review of the current policy on quarantine for those coming in and out of the country.
It follows the publication of the Committee’s interim Testing and Tracing Report, which has made 22 recommendations including changes to the tracing system to make it more efficient.
The report also recommends that mandatory quarantine upon entry into the State from overseas should be monitored more closely.
