Clare Nurse Urges People With Cancer Symptoms Not To Avoid Contacting Their GP

A Clare oncology nurse is urging people who are worried they might have symptoms of cancer to not delay in contacting their GP.

It comes as the HSE has announced the average number of people being referred to cancer diagnostic services is now less than half what it was before the COVID-19 public health measures.

Anne Murphy, who is herself a cancer survivor, says that the virus will remain in our health system for a long time, but warns it’s not a reason avoid contacting your GP.
