Clare Marts has implemented guidelines to farmers on how it will operate during this two-week nationwide lockdown.

No more than 100 people will be allowed into the sale rings at any one time, as per national advice; only those with business to conduct are being asked to attend and parents are being urged to leave children at home if attending the mart.

Manager of Clare Marts Martin McNamara has been telling Clare FM’s James Mulhall that the situation will be reviewed if the government’s advice changes.
