Cancellation Of Non-Essential Appointments Across UL Hospitals Group Extended Indefinitely

The UL Hospitals Group has extended the cancellation of the majority of outpatient appointments and elective surgeries for the foreseeable future.

The measure had been expected to be in place for a number of weeks as the coronavirus continues to spread.

Vital appointments such as cancer-related surgeries, dialysis and cardiology appointments will continue as normal.

The visiting ban at University Hospital Limerick, University Maternity Hospital Limerick, and Ennis, Nenagh, St John’s and Croom Hospitals remains in place until March 29th.
