The Bishop of Killaloe says it’s with a heavy heart and deep regret that the decision was taken to close the doors of churches across the diocese.
New restrictions came into force yesterday, which will see funerals, burials and cremations now limited to ten people, with mourners asked to observe social distancing guidelines.
The measures apply to all funerals, not just those as a result of COVID-19.
