43 New COVID-19 Deaths In Ireland; No New Cases In Clare

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been informed that a total of 43 people with COVID-19 have died.

It brings to 1,232, the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland to date.

The HPSC has been notified of 359 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.

There is now a total of 20,612 confirmed cases of the virus in Ireland, 232 of those in Clare, with no additional cases recorded today.

The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.
