Controversial Road To Be Debated

A controversial new road plan which would see a South East Clare town being divided in two is to be debated at a special Council meeting later this month.

The Limerick Northern Distributor Road will link the Knocklisheen area and Annacotty on the edges of Limerick City and has been hailed at a necessary infrastructural project for regional development.

Councillors here have already given their backing to the planned route, but are set to debate the issue again on the 24th of this month, after their Limerick counterparts raised a number of concerns.
