Concerns Over Inclusion Of Clare In Connaught–Ulster Constituency In EU Parliament

Concerns have been voiced over the impact of including Clare in the Connaught-Ulster Constituency of the European Parliament.

As Britain prepares to leave the EU, its parliament seats will be distributed, with Ireland set for a boost in numbers.

This could see the creation of a ‘Greater Dublin’ constituency with four seats and three seats each for Munster, Leinster and Connaught-Ulster.
