Concerns Expressed About Shannon Heathrow Route Being On Hold

Fears have been expressed that the Aer Lingus route from Shannon to Heathrow, which is currently on hold, will be delayed further.

The airline had committed to reopening the route in April a number of months ago before the third wave of the pandemic.

It now says its 2021 schedule remains under ‘constant review’, while Shannon Group says it’s in regular contact with Aer Lingus and still expects the summer route to return subject to restrictions.
