Concern As Student Rental Costs Spiral

Concern is being expressed at the extortionate accommodation costs facing college students in the MidWest.

Spiralling rental prices have been putting students and their families under unprecendented pressure.

In one case in Limerick, a landlord was seeking up to €750 per room per month in a house and asking for it to be paid upfront, meaning students and their parents would have to shell out €6,500 to €7,000 in one go.
