It’s claimed South East Clare is ten times worse off in terms of Garda representation than the rest of the county.
It follows a meeting held last night to discuss the policing of the Ardnacrusha sub-district which includes Cratloe, Clonlara, Meelick, Parteen, Shannon Banks and Westbury.
A population of 10,500 lives in these areas with just three full-time Gardaí stationed there.
