Concern is being expressed in Clare that a lack of electric car charging points will deter people from making the switch from fuel cars.
Calls are being made by Councillor Alan O’Callaghan for another high speed charging point to be put in place in Ennis, that could charge a car fully in 30 minutes.
There are a number of charging points dotted around the county but in some cases, car owners have to wait a significant amount of time to charge up.
