‘Complete Turnaround’ For Farmers In Clare In The Past Fortnight

It’s claimed the past fortnight has seen a ‘complete turnaround’ for struggling farmers around Clare.

It follows an extremely tough summer with an unprecedented drought, which came after a difficult winter where fodder supplies reached critical levels.

Clare Marts is reporting a much stronger trade than what was experienced two weeks ago, as grass growth recovered, but the fear of another fodder crisis this winter is still on the horizon.
