Make Way Day Marks Difficulty With Accessibility

People in Clare are being asked to stop and look around themselves today and focus on the challenges facing people with disabilities on a daily basis.

Today is Make Way Day, an opportunity to highlight all of these obstacles, such as high footpaths, low hanging branches and non-accessible toilets.

It’s part of a national campaign organised by the Disability Federation of Ireland, which is encouraging people to share images online of obstacles they come across in the county, with the hashtag #MakeWayClare.
