€139k In Funding Announced For Dozens Of Clare Community Groups

Nearly 70 community groups throughout Clare are to benefit from a total of €139,000 in funding from government scheme.

The money is being made available by the Department of Rural and Community Development, under the Community Enhancement Scheme which provides capital grants to community groups to help them to enhance facilities.

In Clare, at least €5000 will go to Tuamgraney Handball Club, Scariff Community Council, Kildysart Village Renewal, St Kieran’s Community Centre in Labasheeda, Shannon Christian Church and the nearby Hope Cafe, and the Killaloe-Ballina Community & Family Resource Centre.
