It’s claimed a community approach will be key in making Kilrush Ireland’s most sustainable town by 2025.
A plan was launched last night, which outlines 84 actions that must be taken to achieve the ambitious goal, with the overall aim to create opportunities in Kilrush to encourage people to set up home there.
The plan aims to make Kilrush a waste-free town, to promote its heritage and to encourage sustainable tourism.
